A large number of people all over the world are now aware of acupressure and acupuncture. Acupuncture is brought to use by ancient traditional Chinese medical wisdom.

Decades before, US doctors ridicule and balk at using acupuncture for their patient’s conditions. Now, acupuncture is not only widely practiced in the United States but in many parts of the world.  Acupuncture works on the principle that the regulation of vital energy or qi (and blood) flows throughout the body what the Chinese call qi or vital energy.  This is particularly true in the case of sinusitis.

Fragile and very thin needles are inserted along points on your body known as acupuncture points. Based on the health condition or illness you have, the needles are inserted at certain areas of your body.  A lot of people have derived great relief of their sinusitis using acupuncture.  You need to undergo acupuncture from a licensed acupuncturist since unlike medications acupuncture is not a remedy that you can do on yourself.

There are so many acupuncture clinics scattered all over the US that you don’t need to search far to find a licensed acupuncture clinic. Chances are that even your own doctor may you refer to a good acupuncturist who specializes in the treatment of sinusitis. Western medicine has now acknowledged that acupuncture can be of help when conventional medicine either carries the risk of several negative side effects or fails. If your doctor does not know any acupuncturist, you can ask your family and friends. Who knows some of them may just have tried acupuncture for a specific condition.
